Remington Model 10-A Slug is a primary weapon for the Assault class in Battlefield 1.
In-Game Text[]
A 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, the Model 10-A is extremely lethal at close range.
History[]
A classic pump-action shotgun designed by John Pedersen, the 10-A was intended specifically for the trenches of World War One. Compared to the standard Model 10, the trench gun was improved with sling swivels, a heat shield over the barrel, and a bayonet lug for the well known M1917 bayonet. The slug variant comes with a slug shells, rather than buckshot: A single, dense ball of metal that is typically used for taking down large game. In the trenches, it's used to hunt the most dangerous prey: Man.
