Fabrique Nationale Mle 1903 is a sidearm weapon for the Assault, Support, Scout and Medic classes in Battlefield 1.
In-Game Text[]
A Belgian-made semi-automatic pistol adopted by a number of nations, including Sweden.
History[]
Initially marketed as the Browning Modèle de Guerre (Browning War Model), the Modele 1903 is a self-loading semi-automatic sidearm developed basing on mechanical designs sold to Fabrique Nationale by the prolific John Browning. Though based on the same principle as the M1903 Hammerless, it is an independent development chambered for the 9x20mmSR Browning Long cartridge. Reliable, accurate, light, and very quick to reload, the Mle 1903 found its way into the holsters of thousands of soldiers and police officers. With a total of over 150,000 units produced, the Mle 1903 was a resounding success, used by the German, Russian, and Ottoman Empires, as well as Norway and Sweden, designated as Kongsberg M/1912 and m.1907 respectively.
