Mini grenades that can be thrown farther than the standard frag grenade at the cost of some damage.
History[]
The Model 17 Eihandgranate is a German design, designed to be a small multi-purpose explosive. Though sacrificing lethality, it has excellent range and could be thrown up to 40m by the average soldier. Issued to both Austro-Hungarian and German troops, the Model 17's distinctive egg shape made it hard to grip properly. As such, the raised band in the center was introduced not as a fragmentation band, but to improve grip.
