A magazine-fed machine gun, the Madsen MG has seen service for over a century.
History[]
A landmark in firearm development, born in the minds of Julus Rasmussen and Theodor Schoubue, of Denmark. The Madsen was the world's first light machine gun produced and employed in larger numbers, starting in 1902. It went on to serve in 34 countries over a period of over 100 years. Chambered in 12 calibers from 8x58mmR to 7.62x51mm NATO, this long recoil light machine gun was encountered by both sides of the Great War in quantity.
