The MG15 n.A. is a belt-fed light machine gun similar to heavier, tripod or vehicle-mounted weapons while remaining portable.
History[]
Designed in 1910 as a collaboration between Theodor Bergmann and Louis Schmeisser, the Bergmann MG15 was revised in 1916, creating the neuer Art (New Model) variant. Revising the pattern, slowing down the bolt to eliminate stoppages, and adding new iron sights created a reliable, yet unremarkable weapon overshadowed by the ubiquitous Maxim 08/15.
