The M1907 SL is an automatic rifle from the early 20th century and remained in production until the 1950's.
History[]
The Winchester Model 1907 was designed in 1906, as a blowback-operated semi-automatic rifle. In production for over half a century, the .351 Winchester Self-Loading cartridge it fired gave it plenty of stopping power, comparable to a .357 Magnum. Though designed in America, the primary recipients of this excellent rifle were France (5,000 rifle with ammunition), Great Britain (180), and Russia (500). British forces issued theirs to airplane rear seat observers, to provide them with accurate rifles for use.
