Colt Model 1903 Hammerless is a sidearm weapon for the assault class in Battlefield 1.
In-Game Text[]
An American-made compact pistol. It was the first pistol ever with a grip safety. During WW1 over 24,000 were ordered by the Belgian Army.
History[]
One of many weapons designed by the prolific John Browning and his fertile firearm fantasies, the Hammerless is a single-action blowback pistol that does, actually, contain a hammer. Covered by the slide, the name was intended to emphasize its portability and concealability, making it a popular choice for soldiers, policemen, civilians, and criminals of all walks of life. The .32 ACP round it fires is just enough for the battlefields of World War One, although later models (M1908) opted for the larger .380 ACP.
